Edward is a promising playwright and husband of the talented but tempestuous actress Ruby. Tragically, Ruby is found dead in bed:an overdose of naughty pills and booze. A year later, Edward remains deeply affected and has moved to the attic room of one of his oldest actor friends, Alex. We join the story on the first anniversary of the death of Ruby Pinfold. May she rest in peace.
Our 2021 production is described as a "Mystery / Thriller" by the publisher but there is plenty of comedy and absurdity along the way to keep all our audience happy.
CW // brief depictions of poisoning, suicide references
It will be amazing to see our friends old and new for some real live theatre in Guilsfield after too long locked away indoors.
**IMPORTANT INFORMATION** Of course we do all need to follow appropriate COVID Safety rules and regulations, including face coverings whilst moving around indoors at this stage (24th October) and so the audience will be "cabaret style" to provide more social distancing between groups. Numbers are therefore restricted to only 70 per performance so PLEASE book early to avoid disappointment.
